The Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide,Ogun State Council
on Tuesday, Commended prince Dapo Abiodun for evolving policies and programmes capable of enhancing youth development, especially the recent pronouncement of 5, 000 youths in all the 20 Local government in the state, which will begin from next week.

The Leader of the group, Hon. Sunday Adebowale gave the commendation in a statement personally signed and made available to Newsmen in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, he said that the state governor had evolved several administrative policies and empowerment programs , aimed at promoting youth development.

The statement reads:

On the 13th of October 2020, the No. 1 Yoruba youth in Ogun State and chairman of the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW), Ogun State Council was on the popular Ogun State television program (Ọtun Ọjọ) where we spoke extensively on the Role of Youths in Agricultural Development, urged the government especially the Ogun State Government under the led administration of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, to decentralize and engage youths across all local governments which happens to be the closest and grassroot to the people, he said that by doing this we believe all the citizens across the nooks and crannies of the state will be able to feel the impact and enjoy the dividends of good governance.

Hence, going by the press briefing of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun Mfr. On the 26th of October, 2020, it is pertinent to note that the Governor in his kindness deemed it fit and worthy to heed to the aforementioned requests of the YCYW Chairman by announcing to employ 5000 youths across the state, making it 250 from each local government, isn’t that wonderful and thoughtful of our Governor?.

For this kind gesture from His Excellency, on behalf of the entire Yoruba Youths of our beloved Gateway State under the chairmanship of Hon. Sunday Adebowale, we are using this medium to appreciate the Dapo Abiodun led administration of Ogun State for this wonderful initiative because we believe this will go a very long way in eradicating poverty in our society if properly implemented without any form of discrimination or influence. Indeed our Governor is a listening and youths friendly Governor.

Lastly, we want to urge and encourage His Excellency in his kindness and generosity not to get tired of doing more, and as youths we want to also assure that we’ll always bring forth more initiative ideas that can further help promote good governance and the good name of our Beloved Father and Governor, across the gateway state and the nation at large.

Igbega ipinlẹ Ogun, Ajumọṣe wa ni!

Ọmọ Yorùbá Ní Mí, Ọmọ Kaaro ojiire, he concluded
